UNSTOPPABLE: ADELA CRUFE-ALVAREZ

This is a moving story from the new Zumba Fitness site: “Zumba Stories”
“There’s a story in every step and Zumba® Stories is a place to share yours. It’s an inclusive, inspiring community of booty-shaking, no-excuse-making Zumba fans. By sharing our stories, our voices become one. Let it move you.”

One day, Adela Crufe-Alvarez was teaching Zumba class and didn’t feel so well. Weeks later and after many procedures, Adela woke up and learned that her leg had been amputated in order to save her life. Instead of crying, she responded with “I have another leg, and I have my two hands!” Her positive outlook has made her an inspiration to many in the Zumba community, and today she is still practicing her Zumba moves with a new appreciation for life.
